The District Level Committees in all Districts for examining the proposals for financial assistance under various Centre Sector/ State Plan
The
Department also has constituted the District Level Committees in all Districts
for examining the proposals for financial assistance under various Centre
Sector/ State Plan Scheme, consisting of the followings
| 1 | Deputy Commissioner of the District | Chairman |
| 2 | Deputy Registrar/Asstt. Registrar of Cooperative Societies In charge of the District | Member Secretary |
| 3 | Representative of the NCDC, Regional Office, Guwahati | Member |
| 4 | Area Manager, Meghalaya Coop Apex Bank | Member |
The committee may co-opt or invite other Districts Heads of Department connected with growth and development of Cooperative Movement.
The
term of reference of the Committee will be as follows
To
review the schemes under Centre Sector/ State Plan implemented earlier.
To
examine the application/proposals for Govt. Assistance to different
Cooperative Societies in the
District.
To
recommend to the Cooperation Department suitable proposals for financial
assistance.
Any
other connected matters.
The
Committee should meet as when required for the works indicated above.
