District Level Co-ordination Committee for the ICDP 

Each District that implements the Integrated Co-operative Development Programme has a constituted District Level Co-ordination Committee for the ICDP, of the District with the following members :
1 Deputy Commissioner of the District Chairman 
2 Manager of the District, Project Implementation Team.  Convener 
3 Managing Director, Meghalaya Cooperative apex Bank Ltd. Chief Executive of ICDP (PIA)  Member 
4 District Planning Officer of the Hills District  Member 
5 The Project Director, D.R.D.A. of the   District  Member 
6 District agriculture Officer of the District  Member 
7 District Horticulture Officer of the District  Member 
8 District Animal Husbandry & Veterinary of the   District  Member 
9 District Fishery Officer of the   District  Member 
10 District Sericulture & Weaving/Handloom Officer of the District  Member 
11 District Industries Officer of the District  Member 
12 Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies of the District  Member 

 

The Functions of the Committee are as follows :

  1. The Committee should meet every quarter during the project period.

  2. To ensure inter-departmental co-ordination for the smooth implementation of   ICDP in the District.

  3. To review the progress of implementation.

  4. To ensure removal of all bottlenecks for smooth implementation of the ICDP.

  5. To act as a feedback agency to the State Level Co-ordination Committee.

  6. To recommend proposal for sanction of Sub-projects/Schemes etc. and ensure    proper utilization thereof.

  7. Any other relevant matter
